PURPOSE: A roll setting device is provide to unwind the film or paper from the roll accurately and horizontally and to improve the quality of the product by adjusting the vertical state of the roll precisely in striking the lower center of the roll inserted to the spool bobbin. CONSTITUTION: A vertical fixing plate(31) is installed in the rear part of a spool bobbin(20), and a horizontal fixing rod is mounted in the lower front of the vertical fixing plate. A rotary air cylinder(33) is installed in the end of the horizontal fixing rod, and a rotating rod(34) with a striking roller(35) is formed in the rotary air cylinder. A roll(10) is inserted to the spool bobbin, and the rotary air cylinder is operated by the operation switch. The vertical state of the roll is adjusted accurately by striking the lower center of the roll with the striking roller.
