ESCAPING APPARATUS ENABLING MANY PEOPLE RAPIDLY TO ESCAPE WITH ONLY ONE ESCAPING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for escaping from a building is provided to enable many people to rapidly escape from a building with only one escaping apparatus, to reduce installation cost of the escaping apparatus, and to maximize spatial efficiency of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for escaping from a building includes a case(2) fixed to a building, a main axis(4) which is rotatably installed within the case and projects outward, a pulley(22) which is inserted through an end of the main axis and selectively rotates with the main axis, a coupling member for selectively coupling the pulley and the main axis so as to rotate them together, and a decelerating member(10) which is mounted within the case so as to reduce a rotation speed of the main axis. A lowering wire(24) is wound around the pulley, which is connected with a protector for fixing the escaper's body.
