WRONG CONNECTION DETECTING METHOD OF AN AIR CONDITIONER FOR DETECTING QUICKLY WRONG CONNECTION OF A THREE-PHASE POWER UNIT BY JUDGING REGULARITY OF EACH PHASE OF THE POWER UNIT

PURPOSE: A wrong connection detecting method of an air conditioner is provided to minimize load of a wrong connection detecting system by detecting quickly wrong connection by sensing a signal input from a three-phase power unit. CONSTITUTION: A wrong connection detecting method of an air conditioner is composed of steps for detecting multi-phase signals; judging regularity of a normal order of each detected multi-phase signal; and regarding regularity of the order as normal connection and non-regularity as wrong connection. The regularity is decided by detecting a time lag between same shape portions of each signal. The multi-phase power is a three-phase power unit(11). A three phase signal sensing unit(13) detects signals of each phase output from the three-phase power unit. The signals detected by the three phase signal sensing unit are transmitted to an outdoor device control unit(14) in a spherical wave form.
