MEMORY DEVICE FOR COMPENSATING CLOCK SKEW OCCURRING CENTERING ERROR, AND CLOCK SKEW COMPENSATING METHOD USING OFFSET CODE FOR SETTING MIDDLE OF OUTPUT DATA TO EDGE OF CTM CLOCK SIGNAL
PURPOSE: A memory device for compensating clock skew occurring centering error and clock skew compensating method are provided to compensate the clock skew by generating the offset code for setting the middle of the output data to the edge of the CTM clock signal. CONSTITUTION: A memory device for compensating clock skew occurring centering error between an output data signal and an external clock signal, comprises a phase detection part(890) for generating an up-signal(UP) or a down-signal(DOWN) by detecting the phase difference between the output data signal and the external clock signal; an up/down counter(895) enabled by a calibration signal(CAL), for generating an offset code in response to the up-signal(UP) or the down-signal(DOWN). Wherein, the offset code is provided to the first adding part(813) in order to correct the centering error.
