SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVE DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT INCLUDING SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVE DEVICE USING SUBSTRATE WITH PIEZOELECTRIC LAYER

PURPOSE: A surface acoustic wave device and electronic equipment including the surface acoustic wave are provided to improve impedance characteristics and insertion loss by using a substrate with a piezoelectric layer. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric layer is arranged on a substrate and consists of piezoelectric materials. An interdigital transducer(5) is disposed on the piezoelectric layer. The interdigital transducer converts an electric signal into a surface acoustic wave and/or the surface acoustic wave into the electric signal and includes plural electrode fingers(51) arranged in a line with a predetermined interval. Reflectors(6,7) are arranged on the piezoelectric layer adjacent to the interdigital transducer and include reflective elements(61,71) which are arranged in a line with a predetermined interval.
