DISPLAY DEVICE FOR PREVENTING BREAKAGE OF LEAD LINE DUE TO STATIC ELECTRICITY IN SPITE OF BREAKAGE OF CONNECTION SUBSIDIARY ELEMENT AND A DISPLAY SUBSTRATE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A display device and a display substrate thereof are provided to prevent breakage of lead line due to static electricity from outside in spite of the breakage of connection subsidiary element due to an under-cut generated at a connection hole, by forming the lead line of which portion adjacent to the connection hole has a predetermined width. CONSTITUTION: A display device comprises a display substrate and a driving circuit(540L1) installed on the display substrate. The display substrate includes a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of switching elements connected to the gate lines and the data lines, a plurality of pixel electrodes connected to the switching elements, and a plurality of lead lines(321L1,321L2,321L3,321L4,322). The lead lines have connection parts(329), wherein the driving circuit is connected to the connection parts of the connection parts. The driving circuit receives signals from an outside apparatus through the connection parts and transmits gate and data signals to the gate lines and the data lines, respectively. Herein, the lead lines have the first portions and the second portions(328L1,328L2,328L3,328L4) connected to the connection parts. The first portions have the first widths(a1,a2,a3,a4) and the second portions have the second widths(d1,d2,d3,d4) wider than the first widths.
