PURPOSE: A method of making seasoned shrimps by using shrimps instead of crabs with a traditional preparation method for seasoned crabs is provided. The product has characteristic taste and flavor of shrimps. CONSTITUTION: The seasoned shrimps are prepared by the following process consisting of: producing sauce by heating radish, onion, laminaria, cinnamon and Lentinus edodes for a predetermined time; mixing soy sauce and the sauce in a ratio of 3:2 at 150 to 200deg.C and then cooling to room temperature; dipping shrimps into the cooled sauce; introducing a specified amount of garlic, ginger, red pepper, red pepper seeds and fruit juice into the sauce containing shrimps and aging for a predetermined time; heating the soy sauce and sauce after taking the aged shrimps out of liquid; cooling the soy sauce and sauce; and dipping the shrimps in the soy sauce and sauce.
