TRANSGENIC MOUSE HAVING LEAN PHENOTYPE USEFUL FOR DEVELOPMENT OF OBESITY TREATMENT AND FOR DEVELOPMENT OF OBESITY TREATMENT

PURPOSE: A transgenic mouse having a lean phenotype is provided to be useful for molecular biology study related to lean phenotype or obesity and for development of an obesity treatment. CONSTITUTION: The transgenic mouse(Mus musculus) having the lean phenotype comprises a mutation in an intron between no. 1 exon and no. 2 exon of Unc5h3 gene. The mutation is that a nucleotide part of no. 80,503 nucleotide to no. 131,168 nucleotide of the intron sequence is removed. DNA coding a telomerase is inserted stably into the removed part. The transgenic mouse(Mus musculus) is developed from a fertilized egg having a deposition no. KCTC 10456 BP.
