PREVENTION OF INFLUX OF LIQUID REFRIGERANT INTO COMPRESSOR OF KIMCHI REFRIGERATOR BY IMPROVING RELATION BETWEEN COMPRESSOR AND SOLENOID VALVE WHEREBY REDUCING NOISE GENERATION

PURPOSE: A method of preventing the influx of liquid refrigerant into a compressor of a kimchi refrigerator by closing a solenoid valve and then operating the compressor for a predetermined time to store the liquid refrigerant into the compressor is provided. It improves performance and durability of the compressor and reduces noise generation of the compressor by performance degradation. CONSTITUTION: The prevention of the influx of liquid refrigerant in the compressor is performed by the steps of: comparing the detected temperature(T) from a sensor and a control temperature; opening a solenoid valve in cases where the detected temperature is higher than the control temperature; judging whether platen pressure is achieved after the elapse of a predetermined time; operating the compressor in cases where the platen pressure is achieved; comparing the detected temperature from the sensor and the control temperature after cooling is achieved; closing the solenoid valve in cases where the control temperature is larger than the detected temperature; judging whether the recovery of liquid refrigerant in the compressor into the compressor is completed; and stopping the compressor in cases where the recovery of the liquid refrigerant is completed.
