PURPOSE: An articulated lightweight elevator is provided to heighten the elevating height without increasing the length of a cross bar and a screw bar and to execute structurally stable elevating action. CONSTITUTION: An articulated lightweight elevator includes a screw bar(20), feed parts(30) moving along the screw bar according to the rotation of the screw bar, and cross bars(40) combined to the feed part to execute elevating action. The articulated lightweight elevator comprises two extension bars(50) each having one end rotatably combined to the upper parts of the cross bars; an upper support bar(60) rotatably combined at a position wherein the other ends of the extension bars are separated from each other; springs(70) supporting the extension bars and the upper support bar. The springs are situated to connection parts of the cross bar and the extension bar, and the extension bar and the upper support bar.
