STRUCTURE FOR INSTALLING A STABILIZER MOUNTING BUSH TO REDUCE NOISE BY FORMING AN OPTIMAL GAP BETWEEN A STABILIZER AND THE STABILIZER MOUNTING BUSH WHILE PRESSING THE BUSH AT THE PREDETERMINED VOLUME AND TO IMPROVE RIDING COMFORT WITHOUT INCREASING STARTING TORQUE OF THE STABILIZER

PURPOSE: A structure for installing a stabilizer mounting bush is provided to secure the desirable characteristic of noise and riding comfort by selecting properly the pressing volume of the stabilizer mounting bush fixing a stabilizer to a vehicle body by a bracket. CONSTITUTION: Reference volume is a state that a stabilizer mounting bush(1) made from self-lubricating continuous rubber having shore hardness of 80 and amide of 10wt% does not receive external force. The volume formed by pressing a U-shaped portion of the stabilizer mounting bush by a bracket(7) for covering and fixing the U-shaped portion of the bush on a plane of a vehicle body occupies 2.0% of the reference volume. The volume formed by pressing the bush vertically to the plane of the vehicle body occupies 3.4% of the reference volume. The volume formed by pressing a mounting hole to which a stabilizer(5) is inserted, by the stabilizer occupies 1.0% of the reference volume for tolerance. Accordingly, a stabilizer bar is mounted to the vehicle body by the bracket with satisfying the pressed volume conditions of the stabilizer mounting bush.
