An electronic door lock apparatus for preventing a theft is provided to improve security by using an on/off switch adjacent to a decelerator. A locking main frame(100) is installed on an inner of a door. An inner body(200) is installed on the inner of the door and contains a battery. An outer body(300) is installed an external of the door and provided with a keypad(301) for opening the door on a front of the outer body(300). A control circuit is provided inside the inner body(200) to control an operation of a locking member(102). A driving motor is provided inside the inner body(200) to be driven forwardly and backwardly by the control circuit. A decelerator is provided inside the inner body(200) to reduce rotatory force of the driving motor. A rotatory force transmitter is interlocked with the decelerator and axis-coupled to a locking member operation unit(103) to transmit the rotatory force of the decelerator to the locking member operation unit(103). An on/off switch is provided within the inner body(200) to perform an on/off operation of the driving motor. The on/off switch is connected to the control circuit provided with a pair of single lines.
