PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence on an installed store by performing a failure recovery for a short period of time in a maintenance operation system at a trouble of an automatic cash handling device. PSOLUTION: The automatic cash handling device (1) and a protector (3) are paired, and an external connection connector (37) with a host device (5) is provided in the protector (3) of a crime prevention mechanism. At the trouble of the automatic cash handling device (1), even if the whole automatic cash handling device (1) is replaced, only the connection work with the protector (3) is required, working hours can be shortened, and the influence to the installed store can be minimized.
