PURPOSE: A multistage vacuum sewer collecting system is provided to apply the vacuum sewer collecting system to a hill of more than a height of 3.1 m by mounting a middle vacuum pit between a sewer pit and a vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION: A multistage vacuum sewer collecting system(10) is composed of an atmospheric sewer pit(5) installed around a drainage system(3) to collect sewage or wastewater from houses or factories, a vacuum pump plant(7) spaced from the sewer pit and placed to be higher than 3.1 m and composed of a collecting tank(21) forming vacuum by a vacuum pump(23), a vacuum line(9) connected between the sewer pit and the vacuum pump plant, and a middle vacuum pit(30) or more communicated with the vacuum line. Sewage is streamed from the sewer pit through the vacuum line to the middle vacuum pit, and sucked through the vacuum line to the collecting tank of the vacuum pump plant in opening the air line.
