PURPOSE: Provided is a method for improving NOx removal efficiency from flue gas in which modified natural manganese ores are heat treated in the temperature of 300 to 400deg.C and by adding one or more sorts of metallic oxides into the heat treated modified natural manganese ores, it can be possible to get an effect of reducing consumption of ammonia and emission of nitrogen dioxide. CONSTITUTION: In the method, modified natural manganese ores that are heat treated in the temperature of 300 to 400deg.C are used with catalyst and react that with ammonia and nitrogen oxides used with reducing agent in the temperature of 120 to 300deg.C. The equivalent ratio of ammonia/nitrogen oxides is 0.7 to 1.2 and the space velocity of ammonia and nitrogen oxides is 4000 to 20000hr¬-1. The catalyst is made by heat treatment in the temperature of 300 to 400deg.C after the process of crushing the modified natural manganese ores into the size below 400 mesh and coating that on the metallic support.
