A method for preparing a salt using yellow soil-dissolved seawater

PURPOSE: A loess-containing salt using a combination of loess powder, chitosan and calcium is provided to adsorb and decompose various toxic materials including dioxin as well as to maintain the favorable effects of loess powder. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing and dissolving 1-1.5 kg of loess powder, 0.5-1 kg of chitosan, and/or 0.5-1 kg of calcium with 100 liters of sea water and then making salts by a sun-dried salt-making process, a mechanical salt-making process or an ion exchange membrane process.
