CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing strip using a twin roll strip caster comprises the steps of preparing a gas supply nozzle(11) a tip of which penetrates a molten surface environment maintenance device(10) so that the gas supply nozzle is positioned between the bottom of the molten surface environment maintenance device and the molten surface(9), and which is installed so that an ejected inert gas is supplied from a side where the rolls(1) and the molten surface are met to the center of the molten steel pool, and a gas exhaust port one end of which is positioned between the bottom of the molten surface environment maintenance device and the molten surface, other end of which is positioned at the outside, and which is installed between the rolls and an immersion nozzle(3) so as to discharge foreign substance into the outside; and discharging the foreign substance through the gas exhaust port(12) by supplying an inert gas through the gas supply nozzle from the side where the rolls and the molten surface are met to the center of the molten steel pool at a pressure of 2 to 10 bars and a speed of 5 to 20 m/sec.
