PURPOSE: A UCM(Underground Chemical Mixing Method) method for the ground improvement and the construction of a vertical cutoff wall using a ground excavation system is provided to shorten the time required for the ground improvement and the construction of a vertical cutoff wall. CONSTITUTION: The UCM method(Underground Chemical Mixing Method) for the ground improvement and the construction of a vertical cutoff wall using a ground excavation system comprises the steps of: connecting a connecting rod(3), a stirring rod(4) and an excavating rod(5) downward to each multi-swivel(6), which is connected downward to an output shaft(21) of a rotator(2) receiving rotary power from an auger machine(16), in order; rotating each rod to excavate the ground using the excavating rod(5) and to be inserted to the preset depth; and discharging cement mortar and hydraulic pressure by excavating wings attached to the excavating rod(5) when drawing off the excavating rod(5) to improve the ground or to construct the vertical cutoff wall.
