PURPOSE: A push button structure for purified water discharge of a water purifier is provided to prevent spill of purified water in discharging a large amount of purified water and to facilitate separation of a water purifier cover in maintenance of the inside of the water purifier and replacement of a filter. CONSTITUTION: A push button structure for purified water discharge of a water purifier comprises a cylinder(100) pierced along the longitudinal direction to enable inflow and outflow of purified water, and an opening and shutting unit fitted to the inside of the cylinder to control flowing and discharge of the purified water. A large diameter part(110) and a small diameter part(120) are formed to the inside of the cylinder. The opening and shutting unit comprises a driven member having a shielding part for opening and shutting the inflow side of the small diameter part, and an operating member moving the shielding part to a direction of opening or shutting the inflow side of the small diameter part while pressing one side of the driven member. The operating member comprises a push button(252) fastened to one end of the cylinder and a rod part to which plural rods(271,272,273) for pressing the shielding part are successively connected, to one side of the push button. The rod part comprises saw tooth parts(274) of plural saw tooth structures to enable engagement of the corresponding ends between rods. The saw tooth part of one of the rods has one end of a slant face to maintain a state fitted to a fitting projection formed on one side of the inside of the cylinder in the first pressing of the push button and to release the fitted state while turning from the fitting projection in the second pressing of the push button.
