PURPOSE: Provided is a natural food coating agent containing soy protein with saccharides, shortening, and cocoa and cinnamon powder. It is excellent in maintaining the nutrients and quality of a food. CONSTITUTION: A natural food coating agent is characterized by comprising 0.1-30 wt.% of soybean protein, 0-20 wt.% of one of cocoa powder or cinnamon powder, 40-60 wt.% of shortening and 30-40 wt.% of saccharide.
