PURPOSE: A stick feeder apparatus for an SMD(surface mounting device) is provided to prevent parts from falling into a conveyer by closing the stick. CONSTITUTION: A stick feeder apparatus for an SMD comprises a part supplying unit(40) for supplying continuously parts from the stick on which the parts are arranged; a part transferring unit(50) for transferring the parts at the pick up point; a part sensing unit(60) mounted on the transferring unit for sensing the parts; a part driving unit(70) for supplying the power to the transferring unit; a part controlling unit; and a frame(90).
