LIGHT SENSING DEVICE EMPLOYING A SINGLE TFT SERVING BOTH FUNCTIONS OF SENSING AND SWITCHING, AND A CONTROL METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: An optical sensing device with a single TFT(thin film transistor) used for sensing and switching is provided to fabricate a high-integrated optical sensing device of a simple structure by using one TFT that can be used for a sensor TFT and a switching TFT. CONSTITUTION: A storage capacitor(130) stores electric charges. A TFT(120) generates current corresponding to an input quantity of light to store electric charges of the current in the storage capacitor. The TFT performs a switching operation according to a control signal applied to a gate electrode to discharge the electric charge accumulated in the storage capacitor to the outside.
