PURPOSE: A method for generating oxygen-enriched air by removal of nitrogen from air is provided to obtain effects of system miniaturization, space efficiency improvement and cost reduction by installing both adsorption columns and dry columns in one case, and an apparatus therefor is provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a plural adsorption columns comprising first and second adsorption columns(111,112) containing adsorbent for adsorbing nitrogen from air flown in from the outside and enriching oxygen, and a plural dry columns comprising first and second dry columns(121,122) installed at one side distanced from the respective adsorption columns correspondingly to the adsorption columns to dry the air flown in, wherein the respective adsorption columns and dry columns are connected to each other in series and arranged in one case(101), and wherein the apparatus further comprises a suction conduit(102) branched off and led-in to one side of the first and second dry columns through one side of the case, discharge pipes(103a,103b) branched off to one side of the first and second dry columns from an end part of the suction conduit, connection conduits(104a,104b) for connecting the first and second dry columns and the first and second adsorption columns respectively, branch conduits(105a,105b) respectively drawn out from the first and second adsorption columns, an air supply conduit(105) extended to the outside of the case with the respective branch conduits being contacted with each other, first mainline pipe(106) connected between the branch conduits, second mainline pipe(108) connected between the respective connection conduits, and a control part(150) for controlling opening and shutting of the various valves.
