PURPOSE: Provided is a preparation of functional beverage containing chlorophylls and carotenes from seaweed, sugar, aspartame, fructooligosaccharide, citric acid and concentrated fruit juice. CONSTITUTION: A functional beverage is characterized by containing 0.1-1.0 part by weight of chlorophylls and carotenes extracted from seaweed, 0.5-5.0 part by weight of sugar, 0.01-0.05 part by weight of aspartame, 1-10 part by weight of fructooligosaccharide, 0.05-0.5 part by weight of citric acid and 0.1-1 part by weight of concentrated fruit juice.
