PURPOSE: To provide a regeneration system for water softener in which a granular regeneration agent having superior dissolution time compared with a conventional soft water regeneration agent and pipes for inlet and outlet of raw water are optimally controlled to reduce expenses and maximize regeneration efficiency of soft water. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method of granular regeneration agent for water softener comprises the process of preparing a pelletized regeneration agent for water softener by applying a pressure of 5 to 15 kg/cm¬2 to the soft water regeneration agent after putting a soft water regeneration agent into a mold, wherein the soft water regeneration agent is sodium chloride, potassium chloride or a mixture thereof, wherein the regeneration agent is a powder type regeneration agent, and an additive is additionally added to the regeneration agent, wherein the additive is binder, vitamin or plant extract, and wherein content of the additive is 1 to 10 wt.% for the total weight of the regeneration agent.
