Prior to be treated with acid, concentrate is subjected to mechanical activation with energy supply intensity 10 kJ/s per 1 kg concentrate within 5 to 30 min. Mechanical activation in carbon dioxide medium is also possible at CO2 consumption 0.2-0,8 mole/mole CaO. For acid treatment of concentrate, 15-20% nitric acid is used at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure, wherein additional titanium is transferred into solution.
