FIELD: oil-producing industry; dehydration of a water- oil emulsion.;SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with oil-producing industry, in particular with methods of preparation of the oil wells products to transportation and may be used for production of petroleum of the given quality. In a container there is a partition made out of hydrophobic elements. One half of the container is filled in with petroleum with the given share of water and the second half is filled with the starting share. Between the halves of the container they create a pressure difference defined by a formula and let the petroleum passing through hydrophobic elements. The technical result consists in production of petroleum and water of required quality.;EFFECT: the method allows to prepare petroleum and water of the required quality.;2 dwg
