FIELD: aviation.;SUBSTANCE: a pressure differential is produced between the inlet and outlet of the pneumatic channel, air pressure at its outlet and the ambient air pressure and temperature are measured. The pressure differential is produced in flight conditions with variation of the vertical velocity. Not more than 3 hours before the flight the dependence of the air temperature and pressure on the absolute altitude is determined by atmospheric sounding, in flight synchronous measurements of pressure, Mach number, angle of attack, absolute flight altitude are carried out, the lag factor is computed. Twin flight conditions (climbing and descent) contain transition from the horizontal flight to the flight at a constant vertical velocity, flight at such a velocity and transition to a horizontal flight. The modulus of vertical velocity reaches 80 to 90% or 40+-50% of the maximum value possible for the aircraft. The conditions are accomplished within altitude ranges of 10 to 40%, 35 to 65% and 60 to 90% of the maximum value for the aircraft.;EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determination of lag in the static-pressure pneumatic channel.;7 cl, 1 dwg
