A process for the calculation of the sensing path of the k - matrix under given conditions for the investigation of an object by means of a magnet - - - device resonance tomography (mrt - device), inter alia,comprising the gradient amplifier with associated gradient coils (3), an input - display - terminal (21), a sequence control (18) and a system computer--possibly (20) as well as an analog - digital - converter (adc), characterized by the following steps:– Detecting via the input - display - terminal (21) to the boundary conditions entered by the user, by the sequence control (18) and / or through the system computer--possibly (20)– Calculation of the sensing path of the k - matrix by scatter parameters taking into account the boundary conditions due to the sequence control (18) and / or through the system computer--possibly (20)– Determination of the gradient current curves, also by means of the sequence control (18) and / or through the system computer--possibly (20), which in the case of application to the corresponding gradient coils (3) with the use of the adc to a scanning along the previously calculated sensing path lead.
