The safe or laboratory cupboard has a drawer (3) with a cable (17) which connects it to a lever system (13, 15). One of the levers (13) has a thermoelement (12) connected to its end. This pulls the drawer into the cupboard if a fire occurs and simultaneously closes the cupboard door (5) using a second lever system (7).
