The vehicle bottom has at least one section (6,7) subjected to airflow when traveling, where vibrations are generated. This vibration-sensitive section is screened by wind deflector panels (8,8a). The single panel is positioned in the flow channel between main and rear bottom (4,5) and road surface (3). The panel surface (10,a) and the associated bottom surface define a diffuser channel (13,a). The rear edge (9,a) of the pane is angled downward. The lower end section of the panel moves relative to the vehicle body (1) during a collision. At least part of the panel is of rubber-elastic material.
