Packaging for food or drink has a test strip that leads from the inside to the outside of the packet or is directly integrated in the packaging wall. The test strip indicates a change in the acidity of the product contained in the packaging and thus indicates a change in its freshness. A consumer can thus see directly if the content of the packaging is still edible.
