Device for electronic control of at least a windscreen wiper motor of a motor vehicle has an evaluation and control unit (14) that controls at least one wiper motor (16), based on the surface temperature of the windscreen. The surface temperature of the windscreen is determined from the temperature of at least an operating fluid of the vehicle measured using a temperature sensor (20) therefor. An independent claim is made for a method for controlling a vehicle windscreen wiper motor.
