Mounting device for a container (1) and a filling level measurement arrangement (6, 7) for measuring the level of a medium in a container, has a container mounting (2) and a locking arrangement (3, 4) that can be opened, in which case the container is free to move, or closed, in which case it is held in place. When the locking arrangement is closed the measurement arrangement is held against the outer wall of the container, while if it is in the open position it is moved away from the container.
