A full tubular rivet (13) ready to be riveted is allocated a split rivet prong (1) and a counter-pressure device (14). The full tubular rivet fits between the split rivet prong and the counter-pressure device. A drive device displaces the split rivet prongs on their longitudinal axis so as to make a riveted joint in rotation. An independent claim is also included for a method for riveting two full tubular rivets and a seat belt clasp simultaneously.
