Storage device comprises several storage elements (8) that pivot about an axis and are arranged in a first pivot position (storage position) so that the storage planes are parallel to each other. The uppermost storage element of several adjacent storage elements in the first pivot position can be pivoted into at least one second pivot position and back into the first pivot position. The storage plane of a storage element in the first pivot position can be loaded/unloaded when the storage element above is in the second pivot position. Locking and/or catch elements (15) are provided with a specified catch position in which the storage element engages on reaching the second pivot position. Preferred Features: The locking and/or catch elements are magnets and/or hook arrangements.
