The method for controlling a heating arrangement, especially an electrical seat heater for a motor vehicle, whereby a set time for the duration of operation of the seat heater is determined dependent on the difference between a measured external temperature (TA) and a measured internal temperature, e.g. seat temperature. An independent claim is made for a device for controlling a heating arrangement, especially a motor vehicle seat heater.
