Linkage assembly (100) has a mounting body (105) with an arm (106,107) that is fixed to the mounting body so that it can rotate and a mechanism for limiting rotation of the arm relative to the mounting body in order to protect a cable fed through mounting body and arm against twisting. The arm is fixed to the mounting body via a ball joint (103, 104) with a linkage ball (107). The mechanism for limiting ball joint rotation comprises a ball shaped recess with a ball seat. A slotted link limits joint rotation.
