The method involves storing classification elements in a memory with individual descriptions and memory location references to at least one further memory. The further memory stores information in addition to the descriptions of the classification elements. To generate a new project reference module, the further memory is accessed exclusively via a previous access to the first memory. Independent claims are included for a method of generating structured configuration information; and for an apparatus for carrying out the method.
