An object (O1) surface (F1) zone (Z1) spatial position measurement procedure uses a coordinate measurement machine with white or colored light sensor (W) to measure the position in one axis (Zalpha ) with respect to its coordinate system (RKS). Independent claims are included for measurement equipment using the procedure.
