A machine tool is provided with two in each case in a separate spindle housing (17) rotatably mounted tool spindles, which in each case have a tool bit chuck for a tool. Furthermore, a workpiece table for receiving two devices for the clamping of workpieces to be machined with the tools and a relative to the workpiece table in three axes movable supporting structure (12) is provided, to which the two spindle housing (17) with a in the direction of a first of the three axes, the distance from one another are mounted. Via an adjusting device, the position of the two spindle housing (17) can be changed with respect to one another. The control arrangement comprises at least one rib (42, 44) and a thermo device (47), via which the temperature of the rib (42), and thus their length (l1) is variable (fig. 5).
