The circuit includes a boost converter (HSS) with a choke (L), to provide an increased output voltage (UA) of an inductive load (V). A regulator (RE1) regulates the load current to the desired level. The boost converter is designed so that during the regulation of the load current, its choke functions as a low-pass filter for noise pulses propagating in the direction of the input voltage (UE). Independent claims are included for a method of controlling an inductive load, and for a computer program.
