The method for producing a dental strip essentially consists of pressing a molding spoon (1) with a kneadable material (3) and a heated thermoplastic cover foil (4) against patient's tooth/teeth, and keeping it in place until the foil has cooled down to a temperature below its softening point. An independent claim is also included for a molding spoon serving for implementation of the proposed method.
