The child's seat is fixed into its fastening postion (4) on the car seat (1) using a child seat fastening. This fastening consists of an isofix fastening (3) and means (6) which enable the child seat to move into a recovery postion (5) in a crash. The fastening means (6) are provided in or on a securing piece of the child seat and consist of sliding parts on the securing piece, which can be moved towards each other. They limit the impact of a crash by lessening the acceleration force whereby the child seat only moves when this force is above a certain value. An adjusting device (7) is provided to adjust the movement according to the weight and or height of the child.
