The method involves applying a coating on a mat and a structure material is embedded into the coating. The structure material provides a reaction component or a catalyst, before it is embedded into the coating, and a first reaction component contained in the coating is brought into the structure material containing the second reaction component as a fast reaction. The hardening is done by precipitation of the coating. An independent claim is included for a system for the production of a winding or a floor mat.
