Producing foam glass granulate material, comprises preparing an aqueous glass binder which contains water, a propellant and a binder. Glass powder is added and the material is placed in a container with a stirrer, and then stirred for 2-6 hours. Further glass powder is added, and the granules formed are then dried and foamed. Water is added to the mixture at room temperature.
