A housing especially for receiving an electronic circuit arrangement (14) has a housing wall and a device for protection against impact-type vibrations. On the housing wall are formed pointed deformation elements (36,38) which convert kinetic energy which occurs on the floor (30) during an impact of the un- mounted housing (10) into plastic deformation energy.
