The road vehicle contains a first lock control circuit (4). Each authorized driver (2,2') carries a second lock control circuit (5). The complete lock control system (3) consists of a first and second lock control circuit in radio communication (7). The two lock control circuits recognize each other by coded signals. If an unauthorized person (19,20) tries to unlock the vehicle door (6), signals from the unauthorized equipment (25,26) may be received by the driver's lock control circuit and may sound an alarm. The system uses chip cards and ID signal generators.
