The container has on the inside a compound material with a carbon-fibre reinforced polymer and a metal layer (3) on the surface of the compound material with an adhesive strength of at least 4 N/mm squared. The outer side of the container can also have completely or partially a compound material with carbon fibre reinforced polymer and metal layer on the surface. Independent claim describes method for manufacturing container by applying the metal layer to the surface of the compound material before the latter has been chemically treated, using an abrasive medium to micro-structure the surface of the compound and then applying the metal layer.
