The computer control circuit defines a first inhibition period (Sperrzeit a) which lasts for a given length of time (t). A delay (t oE) after the end of the first inhibition period is specified. A second inhibition period (Sperrzeit b') is specified, starting at the end (t E) of the delay period. A third inhibition period (Sperrzeit b) may be specified, starting before the end of the delay period and ending at the end of the delay period. The system determines a delay e.g. 6 seconds, on insertion of 0-20 euro or 0-40 euro into the coin slot to start a game.
